In 1991, Dr. Julia Auerbach’s trip to Thailand inspired her to leave law for medicine. Decades later, as a Family Physician, she returned with medical students through the Nuvance Health Global Health Program. Comparing U.S. and Thai health systems, she noted shared challenges, cultural insights, and the universal goal of patient care.
